Irama @Penang Street
Located on the 2F of an office building, Irama $$$ offers fine dining that concentrates on the classics of Malay cuisine : kerabu (salad), rendang (slow cooked beef), satay (chicken and beef skewers) and a limited dessert menu.
The interior decor of the small dining room is contemporary Asian, dominated by a striking wall mural and a panelled wood ceiling. One entire wall facing the Padang is made of floor to ceiling windows.
My order of churros (it's Brazilian, not Malay) came with a dipping sauce of pandan as well as chocolate. With a cup of hot chocolate, the churros cost RM26.
