Hana Coco Shake @ Beach Street
It's a hot day in Penang on Boxing Day. So I nipped into Hana Coco Shake $, on Beach Street - a no frills milkshake parlour focusing on coconut based milkshakes, chendol (a cloyingly sweet Malaysian dessert made with coconut santan and Gula Melaka) and Leng Chi Kong (a Chinese dessert made of shaved ice and fruits).
Decor is “Spartan” with wood tables and stools. But the milkshakes are inexpensive. My original Coconut Milkshake was just RM5. The coconut supplied with a straw to sip it's water was RM5.
