Nyonya Palazzo@Penang Street
Nyonya Palazzo is a new Peranakan restaurant at the upper floor of a shop at Penang Street that sells kuih - Nyonya cakes and hot meals . Prices are $$$ compared to the kuih you can find in kopitiams or wet markets. But of course you are paying for the experience of eating kuih served in an upmarket setting.
There is a staircase down to the Peranakan Museum adjoining the shop. The interior decor has lots of framed kebayas. Nyonya Palazzo also has a kebaya rental business.
