The Flame Kitchen 👍@Tanjung Bungah

Housed in a corner two storey corner bungalow at Tanjung Bungah directly opposite Skyhome Condominium and the Chinese Swimming Club is the Flame Kitchen . Open from late afternoon till 10pm, the Flame Kitchen restaurant serves BBQ food grilled in an alfresco open air kitchen.

The proprietor told me it was formerly his father's seafood restaurant in a Teluk Bahang fishing village before relocating to its present address and a change of focus from seafood to BBQ. There are still some seafood dishes on the menu, though.

There is plenty of parking space available in the bungalow's compound. Service is friendly and efficient.

Prices are reasonable for the quality of food. My starter of deep fried squid @RM18 and my main of pork loin with balsamic reduction, mash and orange & spinach@RM30 were both delicious. 👍. The restaurant also does takeout.
My dinner order of deep fried squid and pork loin was RM48. The Flame Kitchen does not have a service charge. 👍
