On an earlier visit to try the house special of Lamb Bryani (the best I’ve had in Penang) I noticed Jawi House Cafe $$ had a arts and crafts gallery behind the main dining room. So I decided to return and order the signature dessert of sago pudding with Gula Melaka. The gallery also has a chef’s table, aka a private dining room next to the kitchen . As usual the standard of the sago pudding at Jawi House Cafe was very good. RM11. Highly recommended for the food, service quality and pleasant dining experience in a heritage home.👍
