Stairs Specialty Coffee at Lebuh Noordin is part of a 3 strong Penang based chain of cafes. The HQ branch is in Macalister Road. The friendly barista said their chain is expanding, with 2 outlets opening soon.
The interior decor is monochromatic - black walls contrast with the stainless steel long bar. Baristas wear white overalls, which is unusual. I've noticed most baristas in Penang tend to wear black.
My latte came with the usual coffee art with a glass of water. At RM14, the latte is cheaper than Starbucks. Their coffee beans are imported from Yunnan.
