Cafe Picco Polo 👍@ Beach Street
Just opened last December, Cafe Picco Polo $$$ is a upmarket Hong Kong style coffee house at Beach Street. Besides coffee the cafe also serves cakes and a HK favourite, the Polo Bun. My Rose latte was RM15.
The interior decor is fashionably chic with designer style chairs, mirrored alcoves, long wood or concrete benches set in the pebble dash walls. No exposed brickwork at this cafe. Cafe Picco Polo’s customers are mostly well dressed and well behaved Millennials. A place to take your BFFs for a chit chat, perhaps. Coffee houses are usually too loud for dates. But I think Cafe Picco Polo might just make the cut. But prices are a tad expensive by Penang cafe standards. The Polo buns, though, look good value. Overall I am going to give Cafe Picco Polo a 👍
