🤠's easy steamed pompano fish. You will need :

1. Frozen flat fish eg pompano or black pomfret. I got a pompano fish from a minimart for RM10.90. It was already cleaned and gutted. Stuff the cavity with ginger and lime slices.

2. Garnishing: One dried shitake mushroom, one tomato, red chilli, salted vegetables, sliced, ginger, julienned, fried garlic in oil, spring onion, chopped. Soy sauce for fish. Fish sauce. Sugar to taste. Coriander if you want

Step 1. Heat water in wok. Chop or slice garnishings. NB Presoak dried mushroom, salted vegetables for 30m before use.

Step 2 Use a knife to score two slits on fish, each side. Rub salt.

Step 3. Steam fish with garnishings for 15-20 m depending on thickness. Add water from mushroom, soy sauce, fish sauce. Steam with wok cover

Step 4 Add fried garlic 5 min before end Garnish with extra spring onion and coriander.
