🤠’s Crispy Deep Fried Pomfret
🤠's easy deep fried crispy pomfret in 4 steps.
1. Clean, gut and scale pomfret - I got my 500g fish from Lotus supermarket for RM15.
2. Pat dry (VIP otherwise fish will not be crispy) with towel. Rub with salt. Then make Criss Cross cuts across pomfret - see picture. Coat with corn flour.
3. Heat oil in wok for deep frying. Shake excess flour off. Fry 4m or until fish is cooked. Do not move fish in wok
4. Turn and fry for another 3-4 minutes. Serve immediately with sambal Belachan.
