Sunday at Hin Bus Depot arts hub
Lots of arts and crafts stalls plus food vendors selling Tibetan, Thai, Japanese, Indian food and home baked cakes and cookies.
Found David Loh, a Penang based photographer with a studio at Hutton Lane has a stall at Hin Bus Depot once a month to sell his books and promote his photography services. He sells framed canvas prints of his work. David also hosts events like whiskey and tuak (rice wine) tastings at his studio.
Also ran into Dayana Wong of Bulan Press, who has self published “Penang Makan”, a halal Peranakan cookbook with heritage recipes from her maternal Malay family. I think the cookbook makes a nice Mother's Day gift.🤠
