Fish head bifun soup@Tong Lek 8 Cafe
Housed in a shophouse with alfresco dining on the porch, Tong Lek 8 Cafe @Macalister Road specialises in fish head noodles or rice. Service is efficient. I ordered a bowl of Garoupa fish head with vermicelli (RM13) but there were only 4 pieces of fish head. Fish heads are an acquired taste and are enjoyed for the gelatinous skin as much as the fish meat. I think I should have ordered the much better value dry noodles and a separate ordered of fried Garoupa fish fillets.
