Aunty Choon's Hokkein Mee 👍@Jalan Nagore
Aunty Choon's Hokkein Mee is housed in an air conditioned shophouse at Jalan Nagore. As the signboard says the house speciality is Hokkein Mee, served with extras like Extra Roast Pork, Extra Prawns, Offal, Pig Skin etc. You can choose to have vermicelli, yellow noodles or a mix of vermicelli and noodles (traditional).
Prices are just slightly higher than at the nearby food court, New World Park. There is apparently an actual Aunty Choon. Tastewise, my small bowl of Hokkein Mee (RM6.50) was authentic Penang style with the soup made from prawn and pork stock.
