Noviss @Cannon Street
Housed in a two storey heritage shop house at Cannon Street, Noviss is a relatively new addition to Penang’s cafe scene. The cafe cum patisserie on the GF opened last year. The upper floor is available for rent as an event place. Besides coffee, Noviss sells cookies and cakes from its own off site bakery and does a takeaway service as well. My Flat White was RM10. 👍
The interior decor scheme is eclectic. Tables are made from unfinished timber planks or tree trunks. Raw unfinished wood rafters. Red cement flooring and off white walls are completed with quirky wall decor items e.g. Bakelite wall switches from the 1950s and wood blocks spelling the name of the cafe.
