II Bacaro @Campbell Street
Housed in a 100+ year old heritage building at the corner of Lebuh Cintra and Campbell Street, the 11 year old Italian restaurant II Bacaro is part of a three storey boutique hotel. With its brown and cream floor tiles, cane and wood chairs and family memorabilia displayed on walls, II Bacaro simply oozes old world charm.
The food is expertly cooked by an Italian chef and is well presented by well trained staff. There is a daily specials menu displayed in a chalk board in addition to the regular menu and set lunch menu. II Bacaro has a wine cellar. The friendly restaurant manager said there is seating for up to 58 diners inside the restaurant and on small tables outside facing Lebuh Cintra.
My RM37 set lunch comprised an appetiser of clams and a main of penne with mackerel fillets with olives. Free home made ice lemon tea.👍
