Santorini Cafe @ Burmah Road

Santorini is a no frills Chu Char (Chinese homestyle cooking) restaurant at Burmah Road that has been operating at the same premises for 13+ years. Unusual for a Chu Char restaurant, Santorini also has Western dishes on its menu as well. The house special is drunken chicken Mee Suah.

I ordered the Hakka Yellow Wine Chicken set lunch the proprietor recommended. The chicken came in a yellow clay pot ( a nice touch) with an iced coffee and rice.

Decor seems to be DIY. The tiled floor looks original 1950s style. On display on a wall shelf are ceramic plates depicting Greek scenery that were gifted by a Sabah customer.

My bill was RM24.90. 👍
