My favourite Tempura restaurant is Hono Tenndon, a small outlet in Tung Choi Street, Mongkok. Extra crispy batter is what makes this small outlet standout from its competitors. The price of a Tempura rice bowl with a prawn, soft boiled egg, 3 pieces of squid, lotus root, eggplant and shiso leaves is now HKD 61, up from HKD 56 3 years ago.
