One of Penang's best known heritage building attraction, the Cheah Clan House at Armenian Street is a popular place to visit to see examples of oversea Chinese architecture. Besides the main ancestral hall with tablets commemorating generation after generation of Cheah ancestors’ achievements, there are smaller rooms showing life in the 19th century such as communal dining rooms, living quarters of workmen etc.
