The interior decor and piped in music pays homage to P Ramlee, Malaysia's biggest acting star who was also a singer composer without peers. Pictures and film posters of P Ramlee and fellow singers adorn the walls.
In the 1970s, yours truly grew up watching black and white P Ramlee matinee classics like Bujang Lapuk, Laksamana DoReMi, Semerah Padi etc. And who can forget the chord changes in his song, Getaran Jiwa?
My Pisang bakar (grilled bananas with Gula Melaka and coconut flakes topped by a scoop of ice cream) was very good. RM12++ . Free water. 👍
