High Tea With Satay @ Kesum Art Restaurant
I popped into Kesum Art Restaurant for their Malay High Tea (RM8) with satay. (You can choose Malay kuih or curry puffs instead of satay.) I added a bowl of their Pulut Hitam (RM5) which is served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream instead of the usual santan. I think the High Tea is value for money.👍 My total bill was RM13.
Kesum Art Restaurant used to be in a two storey heritage shophouse at Stewart Lane for 3 years (the upper floor housed the art gallery). But they have been at the corner ground floor of a row of shops at Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling for the past 3 years.
Most of the paintings displayed on the walls are for sale. A friendly staff said many paintings are by local architects who paint in their spare time. Kesum also sells bags weaved by refugees in KL under the auspices of a NGO.
