Housed in an restored corner shophouse, Viva Victoria $$ is an eatery in the heart of touristy Georgetown. The menu is a mix of Heritage (ikan bakar, CKT, Mee Goreng) and Western (burgers, duck confit). Decor is a mix of Asian casual with lots of hanging plants, fairy lights and what looks like plastic flowers.
Service is on the leisurely side. But the owner is friendly and asked how my ikan bakar dish was (Yours truly likes his ikan bakar spicy with lots of sambal but Viva Victoria's version is Sangat Pedas in Malay- Very hot 🌶️🌶️🌶️).
My ala carte lunch order of ikan bakar, steamed rice with sago pudding with Gula Melaka was below RM30. Set lunches start from around RM13++. Good value for your money if you happen to around Lebuh Armenian/ Chulia Street. 👍
