Kareem Pasembur 😏 @Union Street

Operating from a blue cart parked opposite a bank branch at Union Street, Kareem Pasembur sells an Indian version of Rojak (vegetable salad with seafood fritters).

Raw mengkuang and cucumber is cut into strips and drenched with a orange coloured sweet potato gravy with your choice of prawn and squid fritters, fish balls , fried tofu and boiled eggs into a gooey mess. I think Pasembur is an acquired taste- most foreign tourists are unlikely to try seafood dyed orange red 😜🤠

My order of a small squid with a prawn fritter with mengkuang was RM12.
