Located on KOMTAR 68F, Top View is a fine dining restaurant that serves $$$ high teas and $$$ set dinners. But you can enjoy the same 360 degree views of Penang when you make a lunch reservation.
My beef rendang RM30 (the server recommended it) was expertly cooked and well presented. đź‘ŤThere was only one other table occupied by a family of 4 besides yours truly at 1pm.
I took the opportunity to shoot some pictures of the Penang skyline from the air-conditioned dining area, and from outside where there is a separate alfresco dining area with more tables. The Rainbow Skywalk tiurust attraction is also located outside.
Access to Top View via an lift on GF is a bit hard to find. There is a small booth across the road from the Maybank branch at KOMTAR that leads to the lifts.
