🤠’s easy Ma Po Tofu
You will need a block of tofu (RM2), minced pork, spring onions, chopped, 1 T spicy chilli bean sauce, 1 T spicy black bean sauce, 1 T Schezuan peppercorns, ground, sesame oil, cornstarch solution as thickener, 2 T chilli powder ( I use Kashmiri chilli ), 3 cloves of garlic, minced, sugar to taste
Step 1. Heat oil in wok and fry garlic until aromatic. Add minced pork. Fry for 2 min on medium heat, adding oil if necessary to prevent pork from sticking.
Step 2. Add the chilli bean sauce and black bean sauce, mixing thoroughly. Add ground Schezuan peppercorns. Add spring onions and cornstarch thickener
Step 3. Add tofu and fry for another minute. Serve with a sprinkling of Schezuan pepper corns for added slickness.
