🤠’s easy Turmeric Tenggiri Fish Fillets

You will need two slices of Tenggiri (mackerel) fish, salt and turmeric. I got my fish tail and a small fillet from Lotus supermarket for RM15.

Step 1. Clean and pat dry the fillets. Score two deep cuts in the fish tail on either side. Rub salt then turmeric into the fillets. Tip : make sure you get salt and turmeric into the slits. Heat oil in a saucepan to deep fry the fish.

Step 2. Fry the fillets for 3-4 minutes, turning once. Tip: reduce heat after 1 minute to prevent burnt fish. Serve immediately with sambal belachan.
