🤠’s easy Belachan Chicken- Extra Crunchy!
You will need a packet of 4 chicken wings, about RM6-8 from the supermarket, 2 T of wet shrimp paste (I use Lee Kum Kee brand), 1 T chicken marinade, 1 T sugar dissolved in hot water, 1 T oyster sauce.
Step 1 Wash chicken and pat dry. Put marinade ingredients into a ziplock bag. Add chicken pieces. Refrigerate overnight
Step 2 Heat oil in saucepan. Coat chicken with corn flour. Shake off excess floor.
Step 3 Fry 2 minutes, turning after one minute. Remove and drain over paper towels. Refry a second time time to get crispy wings. Tip: turn down heat for the second frying to prevent burnt chicken p.
