Breakfast at the Dining Room at the Datai is a sumptuous affair with a wide selection of Western (eg crab omelette, foie gras on toast) and Malaysian favouritesv(Nasi Lemak, Roti canai)

The Datai has a Journey Through The Forests 👍 (Coastal Forest, Mangrove Forest and Forest Canopy) tour @ RM100 pax. In my opinion, it's worth every Sen.
The tour begins at the Coastal Forest where I spotted Dusky Langurs in the trees. Then in the Mangrove Forest , we spotted a python having a siesta on a tree.
The Beach at Datai has wonderful views of Datai Bay and the Andaman Sea. The Nature Center nearby hosts the hotel's resident naturalists who conduct morning and evening Rainforest walks and give talks on the diversity of the fauna and flora in the hotel's rainforest habitat.
The last activity for the day, Rainforest After Dark had to be cancelled after 30 minutes because of heavy rain. However participants were able to see a mouse deer and a glider.
