Top View restaurant @ KOMTAR, 68 floor

On a whim I decided to have lunch at the Top View restaurant at KOMTAR on the 68F. On my second visit, I encountered more tourists - both local and international than on my last visit.

The entrance to the observation floor on the 65F and the restaurant on the 68F is via a small lift corridor opposite the Maybank branch at KOMTAR . You have to buy a ticket for RM25 at the counter on the 5th floor before taking two lifts to get to the 68F. When I arrived at the restaurant there was just one table occupied.

My set lunch was RM28. It was a bit pricy when you count the number of small pieces of chicken (four) on the plate. See picture below. But then what you are really paying is the 360 degree spectacular views from the top of KOMTAR, one of the highest buildings in Malaysia and the highest in Penang.
