Can you find an affordable fine dining restaurant serving steak and lobster in the heart of Georgetown, Penang? Yes. The Rain Garden, housed in a two storey building at Burmah Road has a lobster dinner set for two at at a reasonable price. Or hot plate steak with blue cheese.

There is alfresco dining outside as well as an air-conditioned semi private dining areas. Cocktails can be enjoyed at a pavilion bar. My salmon steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables was RM55.70.
