Laksa House @ Lebuh Melayu

The menu at Laksa House (spelled Houze) at Lebuh Melayu is limited to Nyonya Laksa or Assam Laksa with small side dishes like spring rolls. The lunch sets are priced around RM15 up and include a drink of your choice. Upstairs is a guesthouse operated by the proprietor. The staff are friendly and efficient. They seem to do a lot of takeout business.

The Assam Laksa here comes with slivers of kembong fish and lots of mint leaves. The broth is flavorful but I think there is just not enough haeco (prawn paste) in the broth.
