Pang Hainan Seafood 😏@Tanjung Bungah
The most $$$ Nasi Lemak in Penang (RM13.30) is a popular breakfast item at Pang Hainan Seafood at Tanjung Bungah. Now open for dine in breakfast, the Deluxe version of the humble Malaysian national dish comes with a piece of Belachan (fermented Shrimp paste) chicken, a XXL fried prawn in asam (tamarind) , two pieces of okra, cucumber slices as well as a fried kembong fish.
In the evening, Pang Hainan sells a Hainanese version of Mee Udang (Noodles with XXL prawns in soup). For diners on a budget, Pang Hainan also sells an Economy version of their Nasi Lemak without the frills for just RM3. You still get a fried kembong fish with egg and sambal.
There are plenty of alfresco tables covered by a tin roof. Pang Hainan Seafood also has adequate car parking on the premises. My Deluxe Nasi Lemak and a cup of Hainan coffee cost RM15.10.
