Yat Lok @ Stanley Street, Central
Yat Lok is a tiny Michelin starred Roast Goose Restaurant at Stanley Street, Central that retains much of its original character. Better to arrive at 11 am before the crowds arrive around noon.
A platter of half a roast goose is HKD 310, enough for 2-3 pax. Locals come in a group and will order the roast goose platter with extra rice or noodles. It works out to be cheaper than ordering individual plates of roast goose with rice or noodles. Yat Lok also does delivery but prices seem to be higher than dine-in.
The roast goose at Yat Lok doesnt have lots of crispy skin- the star attraction here is the meat. My Better Half said the sauce was too salty, but I found it was alright. Tip: don't let the meat sit too long in the sauce.
