Korean BBQ @ SOGO Grill, Straits Quay Mall GF

I think Sogo at Straits Quay Mall is probably the best Korean BBQ restaurant in Penang. The restaurant has several private dining rooms, and indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoors seating (no Aircon but nice Marina views).

Service is friendly and efficient - you have a choice of barbecue at your table or if you prefer, the staff will barbecue your choice of beef or pork in the kitchen.

My pork BBQ with a bowl of rice was RM54. It came with a cold soup of vegetables and the traditional appetizers of pickled vegetables, egg omelette and kimchi. There was also plenty of lettuce and Bok Choy to wrap the BBQed meat in.
