Hong Kong Restaurant X @ Beach Street corner with Bishop

A homage to the vanishing Cha Chaan Teng or Hong Kong street cafes, Restaurant Hong Kong X at the corner of Beach Street and Bishop Street serves HK inspired cuisine (really fast food) at affordable prices. The lunch crowd seems to comprise mainly office workers.

I think the restaurant was formerly called HK Boy Cart restaurant. The interior decor has wall montages of old Hong Kong street scenes. There are HK Street signages, even one of Maxim's fast fast food restaurant chain. For some unknown reason there are two mural reproductions of the iconic calligraphy art of the so called "King of Kowloon".

With the Mid Autumn festival around the corner the restaurant sells the world famous Maxim's moon cakes imported from Hong Kong. A box costs from RM250 up

My Hong Kong iced milk tea was RM7
