Tho Yuen Dimsum Restaurant @ Campbell Street
Tho Yuen used to be famous for its Hainanese chicken rice in the 1970s but under the present Cantonese proprietors they are better known for dim sum and noodles. Tho Yuen is one of a few Penang dim sum restaurants left where they still use a Hong Kong style dim sum push cart that does the rounds to your table.
I ordered the $$$ Sang Har noodles (fresh water giant prawn) again. RM20.20.
The restaurant was decked out in lanterns for an upcoming Chinese festival.
