Yong Pin restaurant @ Kimberley Street
Festive Christmas decorations festoon the walls of Yong Pun, a venerable dim sum institution in Penang. But these days, the restaurant like many other F&B eateries is short of staff. So it's self service - you take a card along to tick your orders to the display cases and get your own dim sum on a tray. The prices of individual dim sum are indicated on the card.
But my RM2.50. pot of chrysanthemum tea was refilled without asking by a passing waiter. The most expensive tea on the menu is Pu'er Dynasty King @RM8
