Seafood tasting menu@Edison hotel, Leith Street
The imported seafood (from Scotland) at the Edison’s newly launched tasting menu (available only for dinner at RM168 $$$ ) is certainly very fresh, expertly cooked and exquisitely presented. But I had to pop over across the road for a plate of CKT at the Red Garden food court afterwards .
Unlike my previous forays into fine dining at the Blue Mansion’s Indigo (RM102 nett for three courses plus coffee) and Seven Terraces’ Kebaya (RM106 nett for two courses, no coffee included) the value proposition of the Edison’s tasting menu is comparatively poor. The Edison tasting menu despite being significantly pricier doesn't include coffee or dessert unlike Indigo.
