Soo Guan Restaurant @ Presgrave Street

Soo Guam is a halal kopitiam serving Hainanese classics like chicken chop with “Western” brown gravy. I popped into the small restaurant for a place to sit while waiting for dinner at the nearby Presgrave Street night market stalls to open. The interior decor has two wall murals depicting 1950s kopitiam scenes. I asked whether the floor tiles were original but they were not. Soo Guan also delivers using Grab.

My Hainan coffee was I think from a satchet but cost only RM4.50.
