Vegie Life Cafe @ Gurney Drive

The tagline of Vegie Life, a vegetarian cafe at Gurney Drive is “Food is the ingredient that binds us together”. Unlike the old skool Chinese vegetarian restaurants that serve meatless versions of dishes like mock duck, mock chicken or mock char siew, Vegie Life serves pasta, Malay and Chinese vegetarian versions of dishes like Nasi Lemak. Service is friendly and efficient.

I noted the breakfast menu has affordable Nasi Lemak with add on coffee. Vegie Life also has value for money set lunches for two from RM34.80. My ala Carte order of Nasi Lemak and satay with a latte was RM31.80. 👍
