Carnavon House @ Carnavon Lane

Walking back along Carnavon Street to get a bus to Tanjung Tokong I decided to pop into Carnavon Lane to see a roadside theatre erected for an upcoming Chinese festival. There was a row of gigantic Joss Stick offerings to the deities in from of the open air theatre.

On a whim I asked to take pictures inside a heritage house, Carnavon House that has been transformed into a 14 room Airbnb. The concierge on duty said the house was more than a hundred years old. I see the establishment has had good reviews from the framed pictures on the wall.
