Jenny Yeap's solo exhibition at 35 Jetty
Jenny Yeap is a Penang born artist with a degree from a UK uni. She has traveled widely in Europe and Asia. Her exhibition (Chronicles of Today) at Hall #3 of the arts center at 35 Jetty charts her journeys and interactions with people she met on the way.
Most of the paintings are done in acrylics and in small formats. Some have already been sold and are in private collections. I see some influences in her works from Van Gogh (“Starrry”) and Klimt (the tree of life motif is present in several paintings) in the bright colours.
