Les Grains@Moulmein Rise, Pulau Tikus
Tucked away in a quiet corner of the Moulmein Rise building (behind the Pulau Tikus Pasar) is Les Grains, a four year old bakery that also serves salads for breakfast and lunch. Les Grains has an in store bakery. Best time to visit is around 9am when croissants and buns are fresh out of the ovens. I sat at at a corner table with cast iron legs that had an enamelled top with pictures of summer fruits.
The interior decor at Les Grains is upmarket. Lighting fixtures that comprise rose gold domes look designer style. Service is friendly and efficient.
My breakfast bill for a latte and a matcha bun with red bean filling was RM21.80. 👍
