Latte @Ren-I-Tang hotel cafe
Ren-I-Tang is a boutique hotel at Penang Street set in a 3 storey shophouse that used to be a Chinese Medical Hall (Oi I Tang ) or apothecary for 124 years before it relocated in 2011 to smaller premises at Paya Terubong.
The ground floor of Ren-I-Tang houses an interesting mini museum of apothecary's display cabinets, Chinese medicines and the instruments used to grind ointments and powders and old pictures of the Medical Hall.
There is a small cafe, a check in counter and an Indian restaurant. Upstairs are 17 rooms and suites with ARRs from RM200 up. My latte was RM10.
