Nasi Lemak @ Mamu Kopitiam, Weld Street

Mamu Kopitiam is an 8 year old no frills cafe at Weld Street that occupies the ground floor of a commercial building. The decor has pictures of the founder, old pictures of the Penang waterfront and antique pottery and earthenwares. The piped in choice of music is Nasyid (Malay liturgical devotional songs) . My Nasi Lemak Berempah (fried chicken) was RM7. Service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant accepts cashless payment.
