Sogo Korean BBQ @ Straits Quay mall

Sogo is the second Korean restaurant at Straits Quay mall. With 39 tables (indoor and outdoor) it is probably one of the biggest restaurants at the mall.

The restaurant's speciality is BBQ cooked on coal briquettes by a server. As usual the BBQ was accompanied by small plates of kimchi, sweet potato, daikon and boiled cabbage. The servers are well trained, and my order of belly pork was expertly grilled and sliced into bite sized pieces. 👍

One of the proprietors dropped by my table and explained how to eat Korean BBQ. First a piece of BBQ meat is placed on lettuce, a slice of garlic added, then spicy sauce. Everything is wrapped and eaten in one bite. 😋.

My bill for pork belly BBQ and kimchi fried rice was RM63.
