Three Pen Shops @ Tsim Tsa Chui
Eslite Writing Boutique @ Star House
I think the in house pen shop at Eslite book shop at Star House is probably the prettiest and biggest pen shop in Hong Kong. Besides pens, inks and stationery, the shop also carries lifestyle accessories like leather wallets, handbags and cardholders, Bluetooth speakers and headphones for sale. No bargaining allowed here, but there is a store promotion on until mid November :Buy HKD 300 worth of products and you will receive an in-house Eslite voucher for HKD 100. There is another Writing Boutique at Eslite’s Causeway Bay book shop.
2. Chun Kee Stationery at Lock Road
Chun Kee sells stationery supplies as well as fountain pens and inks. Like old skool retail shops in Malaysia, Chun Kee has a policy of giving hefty discounts on its pens' marked up prices. Sometimes it's possible to get fountain pens at good prices if you haggle like you are in a Pasar Malam (Malay for night market). Remember to ask for a further discount after the shop's discounted price.
For example, I was offered 30% off the price of a Platinum Curidas fountain pen I enquired about. I think the price might be lower if I stayed to haggle. Service is very friendly. The staff offered to show me some $$$ Namiki Maki-e fountain pens after I expressed interest in a similar but much cheaper Platinum gold foil pen.
But Chun Kee also sells affordable fountain pens. I once picked up a limited edition “Taiwan Flag” demonstrator by TWSBI, a Taiwanese brand, at below the market price after getting a discount.

Feng Yuan Pens at Houston Center
Operating from the same corner shop at Houston Center since 1985, Feng Yuan is another survivor of a time when Hong Kong had many pen shops. Like Chun Kee, you are expected to ask for a discount. The shop also sells vintage fountain pens. I noticed a big collection of the Mont Blanc Writers Edition pens for sale.
I bought 3 limited edition Ancora fountain pens at a discount from MRPs from Feng Yuan in the 1990s. But the shop no longer stocks the brand. Ancora seems to have faded away in Hong Kong pen shops. But there seems to be a online shop for Ancora.
