SKSK cafe 👍@Seang Tek Road

Housed in a double storey shophouse at Seang Tek Road is SKSK cafe, a Malay cuisine restaurant that serves value for money set lunches. The interior decor is simple with cream coloured walls and wood tables and chairs.

Service is friendly and efficient. Food takes some time to arrive, especially if you order the Calamari in batter (RM10) (almost every table does) which is fried to order. Food presentation is very good, eg the Air Bandung was in layers - a bottom of white condensed milk in contrast to the top layer of pink rose syrup. Orders can be placed by scanning a Quick Code menu.

My lunch order of the Tuesday special Ayam Perchik (Kelantanese grilled chicken) served with blue rice, prawn crackers, sambal, salad and ulam (raw herbs), a drink of Air Bandung (rose syrup and condensed milk) and battered calamari was RM25. Portions are huge. I had to get a doggy bag for the leftovers. 👍
