Aburi Sushi @Gurney Plaza

Part of the Edo Ichi chain of sushi restaurants, Aburi just opened in Gurney Plaza’s basement floor in January according to my server on the day I dined there.. My dinner order of katsudon (pork cutlet with egg) was served with miso soup. The pork cutlet wasn’t crispy. I think it was fried then left in a warmer. Acceptable practice for $ fast food restaurants but at a fancy $$ restaurant, I expected better. With green tea, my bill was RM26.80. Service was efficient. Portions are I think on the small side, so fine if you are a light eater on a diet. But if you expect a substantial meal you might want to look elsewhere for dinner.
