Kam Kee 1967 Cafe @ Cyberport Arcade
Many Hong Kong's neighborhood eateries now use a Q code ordering system. Food prices at restaurants and cafes have risen sharply due to inflation. Breakfast at cafes used to cost around HKD 35 for a full Western set (toast, ham or fish, sunny side egg, hash browns plus coffee or tea). Now they are HKD 45 up.
Kam Kee 1967 Cafe at Cyberport Arcade is a traditional HK cafe. So I was surprised to see the cafe also has a Q code menu ordering system. The cafe has been renovated - it used to have dark wood panels in traditional Chinese restaurant decor with red lanterns etc
The breakfast menu though is still the same : toast and half boiled eggs, pasta in tomato broth with satay beef and sliced pig liver in noodle soup. Somehow I've never acquired the taste for these Hong Kong culinary delights. I prefer the roast goose or duck.
Breakfast set (HK47) at Kam Kee 1967 Cafe, Cyberport Arcade. RM47 for the full breakfast set (toast, hash brown, baked beans, egg, ham and pork sausage.
