Tong Lek 8 restaurant at MacAlister Road probably sells the best fried fish bee hoon soup in Penang. Their menu is extremely wide, with lots of add-ons. You can have extra fish fillets, fish skin, fish balls or pork balls if you fancy.
Fish bee hoon starts from RM8.50 for a small bowl with 4 pieces of fish fillet.
I ordered a extra plate of fish @RM12 so my total bill was RM20.50. 😋
