Yakinuku KNK@Tanjung Tokong
Located on the 1st floor of a row of shophouses at the junction of Fettes Road opposite Island Plaza, Yakinuku KNK $$$, a 24 year F&B veteran at Tanjung Tokong, serves Japanese BBQ over a traditional charcoal brazier. My set lunch of beef (RM52.20) came with complimentary kimchi, miso seaweed soup and watermelon dessert.
Yakinuku is a Japanese take on BBQ meat and seafood, though this restaurant seems to specialise only in imported beef.
